The straws also provide durability unavailable with traditional paper straws, which tend to disintegrate quickly in liquids. These eco-friendly straws conform with FDA, ISO, and ASTM standards for compostability, and will compost in 2–4 months in a commercial composting facility. The straws also fulfill the requirements of the California Straw Law.
